Emily offers private instruction in piano at the Waukesha County Conservatory of Music in Hartland, and owns Rhapsody Music School in Fort Atkinson where she oversees group piano lessons for students of all ages. Students at both locations are guided alongside study with the Royal Conservatory of Music program, and are provided with performance opportunities through the Wisconsin Federation of Music Clubs.

Both classical training and a blended pathway between modern (digital) and classical studies are offered to students, either of which families may opt for at their discretion. Emphasis is always placed on reading and writing music, and in guiding students to regard their own feelings by refining listening skills through technical focus. Gaining a sense of rhythm through both the study of theory and in playing along with recordings gives students on both paths the means to achieve their goals.
Building internal motion in this way yields developing emotions toward expressive playing, as music becomes more complex through the years of music study. In time, the ability to project music through the body's own "feedback" as a measure of responsiveness prepares students for collaboration with others or for solo projects that stimulate their own ability to confidently engage audiences through the medium of sound.
Students who are classically trained may also pursue the avenue to church musicianship, which places the practice of traditional faith in the context of connecting music to worship as it is made known through connecting social circumstances. Information is available by request for lessons offered at discount for students with a particular focus in the "architecture" of music, often indicated by interdisciplinary interests in both medical science and the arts.

Music is a universal art form that anyone - of any age and ability - may pursue with a sense of creative freedom and the invitation to express the fullness of the heart and mind as one.
